Our front of house role encompasses every aspect of the customer’s requirements from booking a table/room through to payment and departure.
You will be trained in bar, restaurant, and reception service. Product knowledge is also vital with customer service underpinning every aspect of your training.
You will be working on a weekly rota system that covers the 7 trading days.
Patricks with Rooms are not looking for transient team we are looking for individuals who see catering as a professional career.

Chef de partie.
You would be joining an established 5 star business with a committed team of people, situated on the Mumbles front in
Chef owners Patrick and Dean Work cheek by jowl with the kitchen team to produce seasonal and local produce. Everything is made on the premises from the breads, base sauces, lemon verbena tarts and homemade confectionaries. The daily menu runs monthly with lunch specials being changed weekly.
Your role would include sourcing new and different produce, aiding in the designing and implementation of the monthly and lunch menus and ensuring targeted gross profits are achieved.Your working week will be split into shifts covering breakfast, lunch and evening service on a weekly rota system, covering seven days.

This position is approximately 20k per year. This is negotiable with experience.

Chef apprentice scheme
We are looking to expand our chef team and would like to offer an apprentice training to the right individual.
We have always believed in growing our own skilled individuals as it means that our high standards are trained in from an early stage of a chef’s career.
You will be given on job training in all areas of the kitchen from basic knife skills, basic cookery and service skills through to seasonal and local product knowledge.
We will give you the basic catering skills on which to build on for a promising career in catering.
Catering is a very hard but rewarding career, you will be working when your mates are out partying but when their moaning that they are board at work or don’t find work challenging enough you can be rest assured you won’t be thinking the same thing.
All we ask of you is that you is; a total commitment to us with a “seriously good” passion for food.
