Terrible two's – challenging 7's

In the corner of the lounge bar we have a separate toilet with baby changing facilities - nappies, powder cream etc. along with a selection of toys, books, paper and crayons. In fact this toilet always seems very interesting to our toilet training customers.

Although we do not have a children's menu, as we cook everything from fresh, it is easy for us to downsize and simplify any of our dishes and of course we always have Joe's ice-cream.

In the rooms we have recently implemented a toddler's high tea menu, which is served from 5.30 – 7.00 so can feed and bath your little ones before you think about dinner. Each room has a DVD player and we have a selection of DVD's to watch on the landings.

We have tried and tested the baby monitors in rooms 1-10 so you can put your little one to sleep and come down for a pre dinner drink and a gorgeous meal with the knowledge they are safe and sound. We are also completely at ease with little ones in the restaurant; just let us know if you need a high chair or room for a buggy.

We have a number of cots, z-beds and fat boyesk cushions and most of our rooms can be split into twins. We also have two sets of rooms with interconnecting doors for larger families or grandparents. Ideal for those families of 5 plus with a combination of cots, z beds (suitable for children up to 12) and twin beds.

Handily we opened our business opposite the most wonderful park that has three sections, a very good baby friendly section, a more adventurous area with big swings, slide etc and a grassed area for running. We will even pop over with a hot coffee for those times when it is just easier to stay in the park.

We are also a stones throw away from the main Mumbles prom ideal for scootering, cycling and in the main holiday season a land train runs along up to the Lido and play area at Blackpill.

The local beaches are also a firm favourite for energy busting days out be it swimming in the summer, surfing in the waves or foraging in rock pools through out the year, it is all good clean healthy free fun.

We have a magic cupboard with the essentials of life for toddler +, of body boards, scooters, buckets and spades even a fishing net is probably lurking in the corner.
