23/04/2008 A LITTLE HISTORY OF 642 MUMBLES ROAD FORMALLY KNOWN AS THE MOTOR BOAT AND FISHING CLUB A photo of 642 Mumbles Road which at one time The National School which was opened in 1867 which later became know as 'the Academy'. This closed in 1908 when its successor next to Oystermouth Library opened. Later it became the home of the 'Little Theatre' formed in 1924 were Dylan Thomas regularly performed.
